About

The Seven Deadly Sins was originally created as a Japanese fantasy manga series, which was serialized from October 2012 to March 2020.

A-1 Pictures adapted the series into a two-season anime television series, which ran from October 2014 to June 2018, and one theatrical film, Prisoners of the Sky. Studio Deen produced two further seasons that ran from October 2019 to June 2021 and a second theatrical film, Cursed by Light. Netflix acquired the exclusive English streaming rights to the anime while Funimation licensed the home video rights to the first season.

The Seven Deadly Sins tells the narrative of a group of warriors who were wrongly accused of a crime they did not commit. This all started when a princess, whose kingdom was overthrown by tyrants, requested help to reclaim her kingdom.
